Forward & Thinking were asked to develop a campaign for Barnsley College Higher Education to increase awareness of their Higher Education courses and Open Events. The campaign aimed to target individuals aged 18+ located within a 30-minute drive of the Barnsley College campus.
BRIEF
Targeting prospective student and influencer demographic age groups in the defined target regions, Forward & Thinking’s data-led planning process revealed the key out-of-home media sites around the College’s campus including classic outdoor roadsides, such as bus stops. To elevate and increase ad recall a targeted audio and video-on-demand campaign run alongside the visual roadside panels.
CAMPAIGN
Forward & Thinking managed the project with a combination of visual and audio assets across Spotify, TV Video On Demand and Panel Advertising. The campaign was a success, delivering over 26,000 impressions across Spotify and 9,655 on VOD TV. The greatest success, however, was the impressive 58,985 impressions achieved free of charge by effective advertising on digital panels. Campaign analysis ensured Barnsley College received detailed reports segmented on the age, gender, platform and genre of those who listened and engaged with the adverts
